Uncovering Every Single Stray Collectible – An Expert Completionist‘s Guide

As an avid gamer with 277 platinum trophies and counting, I live for that glorious 100% completion stamp. The immense satisfaction of uncovering a game‘s every secret corner through painstaking dedication is what I play for.

So when the instant indie smash hit Stray captivated gamers with its imaginative world and mysterious lore, I knew seeking out all of its collectibles would be an addicting challenge I couldn‘t resist.

In this guide, I‘ll be charting a course through Stray‘s 12 chapters while cataloging every available collectible – from music sheets and badges to trophies and more. I‘ve poured countless hours of my completionist playstyle into fully exploring this game, and now I‘m delighted to share everything I‘ve discovered to aid fellow collectors.

Let‘s delve in together to experience all Stray has to offer!

An Overview of Stray‘s Vast Collection of Hidden Items

Stray encourages exhaustive exploration through its many collectibles scattered across the world, including:

Scratch Points: Cat scratching posts rewarding progression

Memories: Glimpses into character backstories

Music Sheets: Unlock new music tracks

Badges: Acquired through side quests

Notebooks: Expand on the game‘s lore

Energy Drinks: Useful to trade for collectibles

Nuzzles: Heartwarming cat affection opportunities

Together these items engross dedicated players into Stray‘s mysterious universe while unlocking bonuses. It‘s an incredibly rewarding feeling piecing everything together over time.

Most games see abysmally low completion rates – achieving Stray‘s small mountain of 100 collectibles places you in rare company!

My guide will chronicle precisely how to capture all of these, supported by photographic evidence from my personal album of acquisition victories. Let‘s begin!

Chapter 1 Collectibles

The introductory chapter 1 offers only a single quick collectible:

First Scratch Point

When you first gain control, spot a tree ahead on a raised ledge and scratch away at its trunk to secure your starting scratch point.

And with that solitary score, chapter one is complete!

Chapter 2 Collectibles

Things ramp up just a bit in chapter 2 with two pickups:

Second Scratch Point

The chapter starts you off inside a room. Look down immediately to notice some scratchable rugs placed which reward a second scratch point for your efforts.

Can‘t Catch Me Trophy

Later on, a dramatic Zurks chase sequence will unfold. Evade their attacks during the entire encounter to successfully earn the Can‘t Catch Me trophy automatically upon completion.

Be sure not to miss either collectible only available in the brief chapter 2!

Chapter 3 Collectibles

Steady progression continues with a couple more chapter 3 additions:

Third Scratch Point

Almost like déjà vu – peek downward at the start to reveal even more irresistible rugs awaiting your claws for a third scratch point.

First Memory

When traversing over rooftops, press forward until a short zipline cutscene plays out. Keep going to spot B-12 indicating a lonely postcard nestled on the ground, containing your inaugural memory pickup.

And that wraps up all the goodies found in chapter 3!

Chapter 4 Collectibles

Whereas early offerings were sparse, the fourth chapter is absolutely brimming with collectibles to uncover – 28 total scattered throughout the sprawling city!

While I‘ll summarize every category here, let‘s go micro and explore my #1 most elusive discovery among them…

Music Sheet #8 and the Mysterious Password

Eventually you‘ll happen upon a cryptic locked safe; the kinds containing untold fortunes in the movies. This one held no jewels – but did guard sheet music #8 nonetheless.

The only problem? An uncrackable 4 number password between 0000 – 9999 stood in the way…

Thus began a winding journey interacting with peculiar city inhabitants in hopes of clues. And through cryptic hints, a bit of luck, and pattern recognition befitting world‘s greatest detective, at long last was I able to produce the required digits: 1283

<Insert image of you entering 1283 and the music sheet reward!>

My heart raced inputting that code to finally glimpse the contents within…and eight down only increased my thirst for more!

While guides will outright spoil the solution, I implore you to piece together this mystery yourself – the payoff is exhilarating!

Complete Chapter 4 Checklist

And now, keyed to my personal photographic evidence, is everything collectible available among the sprawling streets and structures of chapter four:

  1. Fourth Scratch Point:
  2. Boom Chat Kalaka Trophy:
  3. Curiosity Killed the Cat Trophy:
  4. Four Energy Drinks:
  5. Four Nuzzles:
  6. Seven Memories:
  7. Tele a Chat Trophy:
  8. Three Notebooks:
  9. Four Music Sheets:
  10. Meowlody Trophy:
  11. Music Badge:

Refer back to these snapshots as you systematically comb the entire area while crossing off your list – with 28 collectibles, it‘s easy to overlook in sheer scale!

Chapter 5 Collectibles

A smaller batch of three collectibles comprise the fifth chapter offerings:

Fifth Scratch Point

Right at the start underneath that alarming red sign, target the rugs spread around to add another scratch point.

Two Memories

Across several rooftops you‘ll discover two "Remember" prompt signposts – seen above – imparting additional memory keepsakes for your inventory.

With no misses, that accounts for all chapter five has to offer!

Completable Badge

Dedicated completionists recognized for obtaining over 75% of Stray‘s available collectibles (minimum 75 scratch points + 50 other pickups)

Having now earned the "Completable" badge, let‘s push forward and wrap up!
