Echo – For The Snuggler
[Echo pic]Of all the Moon Pals, Echo‘s large, smooth and rounded shape made her the best for laying down with in bed or on the couch for hours of Netflix binge watching. The mint green color was quite soothing as well in a pale, earthy tone.
However, Echo‘s stubby arms undermine her huggability. And her nearly $120 price still seems egregiously high next to a basic stuffed animal that offers close non-branded alternatives.

Her smooth, rounded shape and soft mint fabric were incredibly cozy during TV watching sessions. But the stubby arm design limited strain-relieving hugs compared to Bo.
Mylo – The Gender Neutral Hug Buddy
[Mylo pic]As a gender neutral design in smooth pink hues, Mylo was crafted to appeal to girls, boys and anyone along the identity spectrum. Its smooth, simple appearance and neutral facial features allows for anyone to envision Mylo as representation of themselves. Parents appreciated a toy suitable for any child.
For myself, Mylo‘s diminished arms and lightweight stuffing didn‘t provide as immersive of hugs compared to Bo. And it shows wear more easily despite the high price tag.

The gender neutral, simple design appeals to a wide demographic. But lightweight limbs undermine its strain-relieving hug claims compared to a basic stuffed animal.
Opal – The Sensory Processing Pal
[Opal pic]If sensory processing features are important, Opal‘s extra large ears and textured hands make her the optimal choice. I could fidget for hours with those silky smooth ears to relieve stress. The light purple color was soothing as well.
However, Opal‘s facial screen printing started cracking early, undermining durability. And the senory-focused features again fail to justify the inflated price tag in my analysis.
