Pulled Pork Barbeque Recipes

Many of the traditional recipes call for the pork to be cooked over a low, smoky fire until it practically falls off the bone. But, it today’s hurry up society we all want that flavor and tenderness without the long, long way.

We all love the pulled pork barbeque recipes that are so tender they can be pulled apart by hand. But, this usually a very long process that many of us do not have the time to enjoy.

You can find some pulled pork barbeque recipes that do not take quite as long that will be just as flavorful and tender as the old fashioned way of preparing this delectable meal.

Many people use what is called a dry rub before grilling their pork roast, this rub will help to tenderize and flavor your roast all at the same time producing the pulled pork recipe that you desire.

Pulled Pork Barbeque

It will still take some time to prepare this wonderful pulled pork barbeque recipe but not as long as before.

You will need the following ingredients for the dry rub:

  • 1 tablespoon of black pepper and white pepper,
  • 2 teaspoons of cayenne pepper,
  • 2 teaspoons of chili powder,
  • 1 teaspoon cumin,
  • 1 tablespoon of garlic powder,
  • 1 tablespoon of oregano,
  • 4 teaspoon of dry mustard,
  • 4 tablespoons of paprika,
  • 1 tablespoon of celery salt,
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar, and
  • 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, and
  • 1 tablespoon of salt.

Mix together all ingredients well and then rub on the pork roast. Place in the refrigerator overnight in a covered dish.

Now, you can place your roast on the grill and grill for about 3 ½ hours over medium heat until tender.

After the roast is at your desired doneness you will be able to pull it apart with two forks and serve with your favorite barbeque sauce, and have a wonderful BBQ party
