For all its pitfalls, ALD brims with potential still. I return focus here rather than the misfires when evaluating overall brand health.
So do I recommend buying into streetwear‘s cult of ALD? Resoundingly yes – especially for style devotees like me willing to weather high costs and low inventory.
Just remember rabid hype says more about marketing prowess than consistent perfection. And new only dazzles temporarily – you gotta get the classics to understand the ethos.
At least if abandonment ever occurs I‘ll still be dripped out in my custom Porsche 911 looking back wistfully on the decade ALD conquered the concrete jungle.
