Special Cube Steak Recipes

Special Cube Steak

You will need cubed steak:

  1. 1 can of cream of mushroom soup,
  2. cream of celery soup, or any cream soup that you prefer
  3. 1 small can of sliced mushrooms,
  4. 1 cup of milk and a small amount of vegetable oil.

Preheat your oven to 300 degrees. While your oven is preheating, brown your cubed steaks in a skillet in the vegetable oil. Place the steaks after browning on both sides in a shallow baking dish. Mix together the cream soup and the milk; pour in your baking dish. Place the sliced mushrooms on top. Bake for around 3 hours, or until the cubed steaks are tender.

The ingredients that you need to create this scrumptious meal are:

  1.  cubed steak,
  2.  2 cans of your favorite cream soup,
  3. 1 can of water,
  4. 1 package of dried onion soup, and
  5. 1 can of mushrooms.

First, mix together the cream soup and water in your crockpot, then add the rest of the ingredients. Cook on low for 8 hours. This is a great dish for serving with hot buttered egg noodles and a salad.

You can always change some of the ingredients in any recipe as long as you use the basic ones. For cooking cubed steak recipes, most people use some type of cream soup and a variety of seasonings and vegetables. You can always use bouillon cubes or beef broth and different vegetables to create some wonderful cubed steak dishes that will be your own creation.

Try using beef broth and water instead of cream soup and add items such as onion, green pepper, carrots or even broccoli. Adding soft vegetables like broccoli should be done the last 15 minutes of cooking, or the broccoli will break down.
