Hi fellow adventurer! As a professional gamer who has sunk over 500 hours into Zelda games, I was thrilled to dive into the epic sequel Tears of the Kingdom. One thing that really impressed me is the sheer variety of formidable bosses – over 30 unique enemies stand between you and triumph!

In this guide crafted specially for you, I‘ll share my hard-won knowledge for defeating every single boss, no matter your skill level. Follow my tips to collect their precious rewards and etch your name into Hyrule‘s legends!

Taking On Hyrule‘s Mightiest

Tears of the Kingdom upgrades Breath of the Wild‘s boss roster with deadly new mechanical beasts, extra blight variants, towering titans, and demonic entities. Here‘s a quick peek at the diversity you‘ll face:

  • 5 ornate Temple Guardians
  • 3 types of elemental Draconic Gleeoks
  • Recurring staples like Hinoxes now have dark Stalnox and floating Sky varieties
  • Sinister new Yiga Clan sorcerers and beastmasters
  • 20+ miniboss types like the boblin-stack Totem Molduga
  • And of course, Ganondorf‘s epic multi-stage final form

I‘ll cover attack patterns and ability counters for all these magnificent foes. First up – the Temple Guardian elites!

Conquering the Temple Titans

Five majestic temples house keys to advance Hyrule‘s salvation…as well as these lethal guardians. Here‘s how to topple them and snatch your prizes!

Colgera – Tempest Lord

This floating stingray commands wind and lightning, attacking with cyclones, dive bombs, and crippling electric bites. It has 2500 HP.

Tips: Use Tulin’s Zephyr Leap to avoid tornadoes while targeting Colgera‘s three weak points (500 HP each). Hit twice in phase 1, thrice in phase 2 when lightning and tornados multiply. Collect the Wind Medallion it drops!

Drops: Wind Medallion, Heart Container

Mucktorok – Emperor of Poison Water

The vile Octo-King switches between its true aquatic form with lashing tentacles and an armored Sludge Shark shape. It has 2000 HP.

Tips: Cryonis blocks protect you from the deadly sludge water while you target its purple 1300 HP sac with Sidon‘s Sparshot. Topple the Beckoning Sludge Shark to directly damage the 500 HP glowing forehead ore until itstops reviving.

Drops: Water Medallion, Heart Container

Queen Gibdo – Shambler Matriarch

This sand-scoured undead queen controls explosive Gibdo nests and lightning magic. She has 1500 HP.

Tips: Eliminate her nests so new mummy spawns don‘t overwhelm you. Then use Riju‘s Storm Kick on Queen Gibdo‘s 500 HP head crystal when she turns white and vulnerable. Spin attacks also shred her 1200 HP limbs efficiently.

Drops: Lightning Medallion, Heart Container

Sangon – Titan Infernia

A collective lava entity that emerges from Death Mountain itself, attacking with rolling boulders and incinerating beams from its three 1100 HP molten heads.

Tips: Each head has independent HP, destroy all three to force Sangon‘s full retreat! Use Yunobo and Daruk‘s fire immunity, collecting Blaze Orbs from lava banks to charge fiery smash counters.

Drops: Fire Medallion

Seized Construct – Corrupted Guardian

This bizarre high-tech monstrosity unleashes lasers, rockets, drones, and vortex blades. You face it in special VR mech suits, then directly when those are trashed! It has a whopping 10,000 HP across its phases.

Tips: Part 1 – strike the main Construct‘s weak point while defending ally NPCs from adds using AOE runes and weapons. Part 2 – use Terrako time reversal and Monk abilities to overwhelm the enhanced Construct‘s new abilities. Focus on evasion over brute force!

Drops: Spirit Medallion, Ancient Core Heart

Whew – those temple titans push all your skills to the limits! Now let‘s discuss some other challenging overworld bosses you may stumble across.

Secret Superbosses

While less elaborate than the temple guardians, these optional elite monsters drop special loot and materials for unique upgrades. I‘ll share the best ways I‘ve found to beat them!

Sludge Like – Ambusher of Mipha‘s Court

This muddy swamp beast ambushes you after completing key Zora domain quests. It uses biting grab attacks and poison spray, with thick armor initially protecting it and 5000 HP.

Tips: Cryonis pillars avoid poison water while you identify and destroy the 10 scattered 400 HP glowing ore chunks on its body with Cryo Bow headshots. This exposes the 1500 HP bright purple belly weak point for heavy spear damage – go wild!

Drops: Royal Claymore, Sludge Chunks

Moragia – Death Mountain Crater Behemoth

A terrifying magma titan formed from the crater itself. It emerges after the second Divine Beast is pacified, utilizing fiery area attacks. Each molten head has 4000 HP.

Tips: Quickly take to the air using Revali or Teba‘s Gale ability, targeting each head with bomb arrows and frost weapons. I used the Frostblade‘s extended reach for safety. Destroy them all before its body reforms them!

Drops: Igneo Skin, Magma Crystals

Zant – Usurper Warlock

The self-proclaimed king of shadows returns, wielding strange magical armblades supporting martial skills with 10000 HP. He calls phantom archers and dragon riders as backup!

Tips: Use the Camera Rune to reveal and defeat his shadowy summoners so you can properly focus on Zant. When he splits into copies, use Magnesis to identify the real body by its glowing weapons, then pelt him with arrows! His spinning blade tornado is tough to avoid without cover.

Drops: Usurper‘s Cache

Whew, what fearsome elite bosses! Now let‘s explore some strategies for those pesky recurring miniboss enemies.

Miniboss Mayhem

In addition to the major bosses, weaker but still dangerous mini bosses pop up across Hyrule seeking revenge. Here are breakdowns of the most common ones and how I tackle them:

Miniboss HP Attacks Strategy Tips
Taluses 400 Smash shockwaves, falling jagged rocks Climb and destroy weak point ore deposit, use Stone Smasher weapons for high damage
Hinoxes 1000 Belly flops, grabs, thrown objects Shoot eye to stun, use mounted attacks on belly eye weak point when stunned
Moldugas 1600 Lunging bites, body slams when surfaced Bomb head when surfaced to inflict major damage until defeated
Stalkoblins 320 Cursed arrows, ambush strikes, beast summons Use Magnesis and Stasis on their metal weapons, attack stealthily to avoid alarming the herd

Familiarizing yourself with their attack patterns is key to reliably defeating these ambush experts. Now – onward to Calamity Ganon himself!

Final Boss – Demon King Ganondorf Walkthrough

After all your adventures preparing, the fateful confrontation with Ganon arrives. Here‘s my detailed walkthrough after facing him multiple times on replays!

Phase 1

Ganondorf initially fights with vicious sword skills and sorcery. He mixes up dashing 1800 damage strikes, blossoming 2400 damage corruption bursts, and spinning steel cyclones dealing 1500 damage per hit – dodge them!

He has 25000 HP. I used Perfect Dodges to enter Witch Time slow motion, pummeling him with Ancient Arrows for massive damage. Around 70% HP he surrounds himself in an impenetrable twilight shield to transition to phase 2.

Phase 2

Now imbued with greater dark energies, spectral warriors spawn from gates to swarm your allies while Ganondorf wields a massive greatsword trailing deathly fumes.

Tips: Use the upgraded Champion abilities together to control the crowds, especially Urbosa and Zelda‘s extended paralysis attacks. Target the glowing portals with Ancient Arrows to stem the tide as you dodge Ganon‘s increased 3200 HP sword combos and 4800 damage eruptions.

Around 40% health, Ganondorf channels his hatred to release 6000 damage laser beams! Use Daruk‘s Protection shields or magnesis metal walls to block them until Zelda can pin him with her sacred chains. Unload some bomb arrows while he‘s vulnerable!

Phase 3 – Dark Beast Ganon

His power peaked, Ganon assumes the classic monstrous pig-like form. Wielding a massive trident, his Okotanaru Malice spreads to choke the land of life itself. This form has a huge 200000 HP pool.

Thankfully Zelda summons your golden dragon ally Valoo to gain aerial advantage. Repeatedly leap between beasts using the paraglider to strike Ganon‘s fiery 1800 HP head marking until he finally falls, releasing Malice like blood!

Concluding Thoughts

And with Ganon sealed once more, peace graces Hyrule…at least until the next threat emerges! Hopefully my boss tips help you react quickly as their health bars burn away. The key is balancing offense and evasion until landing the final blow.
