First you will need enough steak to feed your family. This recipe is for 4 servings you can add or subtract as needed.

The ingredients include:

  • 2 pounds of round or chuck steak,
  • ¼ cup of all purpose flour,
  • salt,
  • pepper,
  • 1 stalk of chopped celery,
  • 2 chopped carrots,
  • ¼ cup of chopped onion,
  • 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, and
  • 1 16 ounce can of tomatoes.

Now, you need to cut the steak into serving sizes, you can use smaller portions for the children. Mix together the salt, pepper, and flour. Now, roll the steak in the flour mixture. Place the vegetables in the crockpot pour the Worcestershire sauce over the vegetables, lay the steaks on top, pour the tomatoes including the liquid onto the steaks and vegetables. Cook on low for around 8 hours.

  • 1 teaspoon of dry mustard,
  • salt,
  • pepper,
  • 1 onion chopped,
  • 2 carrots sliced thinly,
  • 1 pound of tomatoes chopped,
  • 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce, and
  • 3 teaspoons of brown sugar.

Cut the steak into serving sizes. Mix together the flour, salt, pepper, and dry mustard and then roll the steaks in the flour mixture. Place the vegetables in the crockpot, place the steaks on top, and pour the tomatoes including liquid, Worcestershire sauce and the brown sugar into the crockpot.

Place the lid on the crockpot and cook for around 8 hours.
