BBQ Sweet Sauce Recipes

Start with the basic barbeque sauce that you normally purchase at your grocery store. Then you can add items such as:

  •  1/3 cup of dark brown sugar and heat until warm.
  • Or you can also add some very unique items such as
  •  frozen red raspberries,
  • frozen blueberries, or other types of
  • frozen fruit.

Purchase the kind that is in syrup, this will also help sweeten your bbq and give it a unique flavor of its own.
You can also create your own sauces by using tomato sauce or a combination of tomato puree and tomatoes. You can then add all of the spices that you love such as

  • chopped onions,
  • garlic cloves,
  • green peppers,
  • pineapple chunks,
  •  brown sugar,
  • white granulated sugar,
  •  molasses or even
  • pancake syrup and just a tiny bit of mustard.

You should begin by sautéing the onions and garlic in olive oil until the onions are transparent and then the rest of your favorite ingredients. You should heat until boiling, and then simmer until the mixture thickens which takes usually around 15 to 20 minutes.
