One great outdoor barbeque recipe is chicken. You can barbeque a whole chicken and everyone will simply love it. To begin with you will need a whole chicken large enough to feed your family. Then you will need the ingredients to create the dry bbq rub.

Outdoor Barbeque

For the barbeque rub you will need:

  • 7 tablespoons of salt,
  • 7 tablespoons of white granulated sugar,
  • 7 tablespoons of brown sugar,
  • 7 tablespoons of cumin,
  • 4 tablespoons of cayenne pepper,
  • 15 tablespoons of paprika and
  • 7 tablespoons of pepper.

Mix together all ingredients very well and then rub on the entire chicken. Place the chicken in the refrigerator for around one hour before grilling. Grill the chicken on the side with no fire and cover your grill. It should take about 3 hours for the chicken to cook completely.

One more great outdoor barbeque recipe is ribs. Who doesn’t love tender and juicy barbequed ribs?

For this recipe you will need:

  • 5 pounds of ribs,
  • 2 cups of soy sauce,
  • 2 cups of white granulated sugar,
  • 3 minced garlic cloves,
  • 1 teaspoon of ginger,
  • 1 teaspoon of sesame oil,
  • 3 chopped green onions, and
  • 1 chopped red pepper.

Mix all ingredients together in a medium saucepan and cook until sugar is completely dissolved. Place the ribs in a dish with a cover and once the sauce has cooled pour over ribs. Refrigerate and allow the ribs to marinate in the sauce for at least 4 hours, longer if you have time.

Grill as usual until desired doneness.
