  • 1 cup of wine vinegar,
  • 5 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce,
  • 2/3 olive oil,
  • 3 tablespoons of margarine,
  • 3 crushed cloves,
  • 2 tablespoons of ginger,
  • 2 tablespoons of lemon or you can use 1 sliced lemon, and 2 tablespoons of dry mustard.

Mix all ingredients together in a medium saucepan and heat until boiling and all ingredients are well blended. You can use this wonderful sauce on any meat that you enjoy. You should baste the meat prior to and during grilling.

Another great recipe for barbeque pit cooking is this one. You will need:

  • 3 tablespoons of margarine,
  • ¼ cup of chopped onions,
  • 1 cup of vinegar,
  • 1 cup of tomato sauce,
  • ¼ cup of Worcestershire sauce,
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar,
  • ¼ teaspoon of cayenne,
  • a tad of hot sauce,
  • salt and pepper to taste.

In a medium saucepan, sauté the onions in the melted butter until the onions are translucent. Add the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil and then reduce heat to low. Continue cooking for approximately 20 to 30 minutes until mixture thickens.
