To create this unique dish you will need:
- 6 boneless chicken breast,
- 3 jalapeno peppers,
- 3 1 inch pieces of ginger,
- 6 green onions,
- 3 garlic cloves,
- 1.2 teaspoon of allspice,
- 1 teaspoon of hot paprika,
- 1 teaspoon of thyme,
- ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon,
- ¼ teaspoon of ground cloves,
- 5 tablespoons of soy sauce,
- 6 tablespoons of wine vinegar,
- salt and pepper to taste.
In a food processor place the onions, jalapenos, ginger, thyme, paprika, allspice, cinnamon, clove, vinegar, soy sauce, salt and pepper.
Make it into a smooth paste. Put the chicken in a bowl with a lid or you may use plastic wrap. Pour the sauce over chicken, turn the chicken to ensure that it is well coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate overnight if possible, but no less than 2 hours. Cook as usual basting with your delicious sauce.
