For this recipe you will need:

  • a boneless rump roast,
  • ½ cup of chopped celery,
  • 1 medium chopped onion,
  • 2 tablespoons of margarine,
  • ¾ cup of water,
  • 1 cup of your favorite ketchup,
  • 2 tablespoons of vinegar,
  • 2 tablespoons of lemon juice,
  • 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce,
  • 2 tablespoons of brown sugar,
  • ½ can of Campbell’s tomato soup,
  • salt and pepper to taste.

In a medium skillet, sauté the onions and celery until the onions are translucent. Place all other ingredients in the crock pot and stir until blended. Cook on high heat for around 2 hours and then reduce heat to low and cook for around 6 hours.
